Early Bird
Four-Forest offers an Early Bird club for those children whose parents work. The children are welcomed from 7.45am and are supervised until school starts at 8.30am.
The school dayKindergarten and Primary School children begin their day at 8.30am. The morning comprises four lessons (45 minutes each) and is broken up by a 30-minute snack time at 10.00am.
Lunch is served in the Mensa at 12.00pm and after brushing their teeth, the children have a further 30-minute playtime. All breaks are taken together and the children are accompanied by two teachers to the playground by the Rotsee.
The afternoon lessons begin at 1.15pm and school finishes at 3.15pm.
After-school activities
We differentiate between After-school activities and After-school club.
There are a variety of activities which are offered to all children from 3.30pm – 4.30pm.
The children can participate in any of the following activities;chess, singing, drama, Chinese, football, creative writing or develop their artistic talent in the art and craft session.
Individual music lessons are also offered and the children receive a 30 or 40-minute lesson on the instrument of their choice.
Four-Forest also offers a homework club once a week and remedial lessons on an individual basis.
Children may also attend the after school club where supervised play and various activities are offered from 3.15pm until 6.00pm. Children participating in an activity may also join the club until the arranged collection time.
The school closes every day at 6.00pm.
