Four Forest is a reputable private day school offering a high-quality bilingual education in the heart of Switzerland. Following the curricula of the cantons of Lucerne and Zug, and incorporating the British National Curriculum for the English language, teaching is delivered equally in German and English.
From day one, your child is immersed in a uniquely bilingual education, with one week taught entirely in German and the following week in English, creating a richness and wealth of opportunity in their school life and beyond.

Located in the heart of Switzerland
With campuses in Lucerne and Zug, Four Forest provides education from Pre-School (from age 3) and Kindergarten through Primary and Lower Secondary school.
Our school in Lucerne can be found in a beautiful location on the world-famous Rotsee in the city of Lucerne, whilst our campus in Zug is centrally located between Zug, Steinhausen, Cham and Hünenberg and offers wonderful views of the central Swiss Alps.
EXTRA CURRICULAR & CLUBS
Activities beyond the classroom
Children have the opportunity to visit our after school club where supervised play and various activities are offered every day from 3.15pm until 6.00pm. Supervision in the after school club is flexible and parents can enrol their child on a daily basis.
A wide range of extra-curricular activities are available within the framework of the after school club, including ball skills, Robotics, extra language classes and drama (activities may vary depending on the school campus). Children can further develop their artistic talent in the art and craft sessions. In addition, individual music lessons are offered (including piano) and from Grade 1, children may join our Homework Club after school on specified days.

Samichlaus Recently Visited Four Forest Schools 🎄✨
Recently, we had the joy of welcoming Samichlaus to Four Forest Zug and Four Forest Luzern. This beautiful Swiss tradition takes place every December, when Samichlaus visits children to share stories, encourage kindness, and celebrate the spirit of the season.
Our students were excited to meet Samichlaus and his helpers as they made their way through the school, bringing warmth, laughter, and a little Christmas magic to the day. It was a wonderful moment for our community – a chance to connect, learn, and enjoy one of Switzerland’s most beloved customs.

Der Samichlaus zu Besuch in den Four Forest Schools 🎄✨
Kürzlich durften wir den Samichlaus an der Four Forest Zug und Four Forest Luzern begrüßen. Diese schöne Schweizer Tradition findet jedes Jahr im Dezember statt, wenn der Samichlaus die Kinder besucht, Geschichten erzählt, zu Freundlichkeit ermutigt und die besondere Stimmung der Adventszeit feiert.
Unsere Schülerinnen und Schüler freuten sich sehr darauf, den Samichlaus und seine Helfer zu treffen, als sie durch die Schule gingen und Wärme, Lachen und ein wenig Weihnachtszauber verbreiteten. Es war ein wunderbarer Moment für unsere Gemeinschaft – eine Gelegenheit, miteinander in Verbindung zu treten, zu lernen und einen der beliebtesten Schweizer Bräuche zu erleben.

Our first kindergarten group spent a bright winter morning in Ägeri. On our walk by the lake, the children enjoyed the sunshine, the fresh air, and the snowy mountains. They watched the frost sparkle and explored the different shapes in the snow.
The walk supported their balance and confidence, especially on the icy spots. It was also a moment of teamwork – holding hands, helping one another, and moving together. During our warm snack break, the children showed great independence and care.
Simple moments like these build curiosity and help children understand the world in a natural, joyful way. 🌿

Unsere erste Kindergartengruppe verbrachte einen hellen Wintermorgen in Ägeri. Auf unserem Spaziergang am See genossen die Kinder den Sonnenschein, die frische Luft und die verschneiten Berge. Sie sahen, wie der Frost glitzerte, und entdeckten Formen im Schnee.
Der Spaziergang stärkte ihr Gleichgewicht und ihr Selbstvertrauen – besonders auf vereisten Stellen. Gleichzeitig zeigten sie viel Teamgeist, hielten einander an der Hand und unterstützten sich. Bei unserer warmen Zwischenmahlzeit bewiesen die Kinder große Selbstständigkeit.
Solche Momente wecken Neugier und lassen Kinder die Welt auf natürliche und fröhliche Weise entdecken. 🌿

The children noticed the changing colours, the crisp air, and the leaves crunching under their boots. They followed different trails, spotted tiny forest creatures, and explored tall trees and winding paths.
It was a simple moment, but a special one — the kind that reminds us how much children learn when they’re outside, curious, and connected to nature.
