Four Forest is a reputable private day school offering a high-quality bilingual education in the heart of Switzerland. Following the curricula of the cantons of Lucerne and Zug, and incorporating the British National Curriculum for the English language, teaching is delivered equally in German and English.
From day one, your child is immersed in a uniquely bilingual education, with one week taught entirely in German and the following week in English, creating a richness and wealth of opportunity in their school life and beyond.

Located in the heart of Switzerland
With campuses in Lucerne and Zug, Four Forest provides education from preschool (from age 3) and kindergarten through primary school and lower secondary school.
Our school in Lucerne can be found in a beautiful location on the world-famous Rotsee in the city of Lucerne, whilst our campus in Zug is centrally located between Zug, Steinhausen, Cham and Hünenberg and offers wonderful views of the central Swiss Alps.
Extracurriculars
Activities beyond the classroom
Children have the opportunity to visit afterschool care where supervised play and various activities are offered every day from 15:15 until 18:00. Participating in afterschool care is flexible and parents can enrol their child on a daily basis.
A wide range of extracurricular activities are also available, including ballgames, robotics, extra language classes and drama (activities may vary depending on the school campus). Children can further develop their artistic talent in the artsy and crafting club. In addition, individual music lessons are offered (including piano) and from Grade 1, children may join our Homework Club afterschool on specified days.

Running for a cause that counts 🐾🐼
On Thursday, September 17, 2026, the students of the 2nd to 6th grades of Four Forest and LMS/Talentia took part in the WWF run in Zug with a lot of motivation and enthusiasm. Thanks to the sponsors gained before the race, all runners were particularly encouraged and gave their best to complete as many laps as possible.
With impressive sporting ambition, perseverance and a lot of joy, the children mastered the route and at the same time supported a good cause. This year`s proceeds will benefit the protection of the weasel and thus make a valuable contribution to nature.
In recognition of their great commitment, all participants were rewarded with a certificate and small gifts. The joy about the achievements was palpable everywhere.
The WWF run was a great experience for everyone, which was not only fun, but also impressively showed how you can actively get involved in nature and environmental protection projects together. We are proud of the excellent performance of our students!

In keeping with the ‘Pass guet uf’ campaign, @polizeiluzern visited our school to teach students road safety essentials. Wearing their bright high-vis vests featuring Poli the police dog, the children practiced navigating steps, sidewalks, and pedestrian crossings safely.

Frequently Asked Questions
All our students have lunch at school, as we are a day school with supervised care throughout the school day. Our students do not go home for lunch.
We offer early morning care from 7:30am, and there is no additional cost for this.
Our after care closes at 6pm, Monday to Friday, and all children please need to be collected by 6pm.
Before each holiday, we will let parents know whether a holiday programme will be available. Our Luzern campus offers a week of holiday care during most holidays. In Zug, some of our extra-curricular activity teams run programmes during the holidays. Before each holiday, activities available will be communicated to all parents.
Yes you can. You do not need to live in the canton where your child attends school, if they attend a private school.
