LMS – Lernen Macht Spass – is the dedicated German-language track of the Four Forest Group of Schools, offered across our Zug and Luzern campuses. Delivering the Swiss Curriculum with a Personal Touch
Following the official Lehrplan 21, LMS offers a German-language Primary School programme (Grades 1–6) at our Zug campus, providing young learners with a warm, inclusive start to their educational journey. Students then continue into Sekundarstufe 1 (Grades 7–9) at our Luzern campus, where selected subjects are taught bilingually. The optional 10th School Year supports students in preparing for vocational pathways, Fachmittelschule, or entry into Kurzzeitgymnasium.

Fostering Wellbeing and Study Skills
At LMS, we believe every student should carry a full toolbox with them at school—one that includes not just academics and social engagement, but also the skills to manage their overall wellbeing. Our students participate in a Wellbeing and Study Skills programme designed to support both their academic success and personal growth.
During these sessions, students develop effective study habits, set and refine personal goals, and reflect on their learning and focus. In addition to academic skills, we also teach the importance of maintaining a healthy mind and body throughout their high school journey. By prioritizing both mental and physical wellbeing, we ensure that our students are equipped to navigate challenges with resilience and confidence.
Inclusion of Technology in Secondary School
Each student in Secondary school is provided with an iPad, enabling them to complete lessons and access apps tailored to enhancing their learning experience.
A Little Extra Time – 10th School Year
Sometimes the future can feel a bit uncertain as students approach the end of 3rd Secondary School, and that's okay. At LMS in Lucerne, we offer a 10th School Year for those who need just a little more time and support to find their direction. Whether it's helping your child secure a Lehrstelle/Apprenticeship aligned with their strengths and interests, or focusing on boosting their averages to gain entry into Kurzzeitgymnasium/Short-term Gymanisum, our teachers are here to provide the guidance and motivation they need. Sometimes, all it takes is a little extra time—and a little more encouragement—to unlock their full potential.
